Lucky is my newest office roommate. She has been with us since August and is positive for FIV, an immunodeficiency disease similar to human AIDS. She is NOT contagious to humans or dogs. FIV may be passed to another cat through a deep bite.Once a death sentence for shelter cats, research shows that many cats with FIV can live harmoniously with cats that do not have the virus. Contact your vet for more info. Lucky is a sweet girl, she is crazy for wet food, likes playing (and sometimes deleting) messages on the machine, head butts you when she wants attention and snores! She is petite but a little rotund in the middle. She is a lap cat and despite her ailment, will bring much joy to your life. She is around 7 years, UTD on shots, front declawed and spayed. No adoption fee.
